Curse of the Crimson Throne
The teaming streets of Korvosa, somewhere deep in the north of the city the Old Town slum is home to a band of thieves and criminals know as the Cote Street Shadows. A small gang lead by an old priest called Nestor who prays to Cayden Cailean, god of freedom and drink. He has raised a group of young adventurous orphans to steal, cheat and survive the mean streets and bring him back a kings ransom.
Their home is in an old Cider Brewery known as “Apple Jacks” and it is a run down derelict building with many entrances and exits. Nestor may drink too much, but he has a lot of work to do to get his boys in shape for the big bad world out there. Rival gangs, drugs, the city watch and now a new sense of desperation as the rich get richer and the poor get scraps.
Nestor is different from most Capos as he has raised his young men and women and taught them letters, diplomacy and guile. He hopes they will mix in more affluent circles as most gangs steal from equally poor citizenry, he wants better from his children.
